With a nod to Otis Redding, Docent Naturalists Karen DeMello, Kay Partelow, and Cathy Brown invite you to join them for a quiet morning of shared discovery. You’ll learn about tides and rails (a type of bird) while sitting near the salt marsh a short distance from the parking area. To be comfy, bring something to sit on and/or a portable chair (optional), and a blanket for warmth. This will be a very short out-and-back, leisurely-paced stroll along the Bay Trail with a focus on observation and discussion for adults and interested children. Bring binoculars if you have them. .
