Join Midpen staff for a trail maintenance workday at Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve on the Redwood Trail. We will be transporting (with wheelbarrows) and distributing new surface material onto the trail as well as other minor improvements to maintain this accessible trail. The project leader will provide training on hand tool safety and guide volunteers in performing installation tasks, with technical assistance from Midpen staff.
This project is scheduled to end at 1:30 p.m. to allow some extra work time.
Project difficulty: STRENUOUS
