Join Midpen staff for a fence maintenance workday at Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve on the High Meadow and Farm Bypass Trails. We might even have some supervision from the abundant turkeys and deer at this lively preserve! We will be repairing two split-rail fences. This is an opportunity to learn more about how these rustic fences are constructed. Staff will provide training on hand tool safety and guide volunteers in performing typical maintenance activities. This project is an excellent opportunity for first-time volunteers!
Project difficulty: MODERATE (about 1.25 mi of hiking with tools)
JOINING THE WAITLIST: If there are 0 spots available, you'll need to log in to your account, or create a new account if it's your first time volunteering. Return to this project page and you'll see a Waitlist button you can click to be added.
