Join Midpen staff for a structural maintenance workday at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve at the Daniels Nature Center. We will protect the area, prepare the surfaces, and then repaint the deck at the entrance to the building. Staff will provide training on hand tool safety and guide volunteers in performing typical maintenance activities. This project is an excellent opportunity for first-time volunteers!
Due to the type of work we'll be doing we may extend the event to ensure it's completed, but staying later will be completely voluntary.
Project difficulty: MODERATE (about 0.5 miles of hiking, vigorous scraping, working on all fours)
