Join Midpen staff for a trail maintenance workday at Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve on an under-construction multi-use trail in the north area of the preserve. We will assist staff in tasks to finish the tread and adjoining portions of the trail. (Additional details as the date approaches.) This will be an opportunity to see how a brand new trail is built. Staff will provide training on hand tool safety and guide volunteers in performing typical construction activities.
Project difficulty: MODERATE (about 1 mi of hiking with tools; may change closer to event)
