Volunteer: Skyline Ridge Preserve - Trail Maintenance: Horseshoe Loop Trail (Pt. 3)NOTE: We start summer schedule in June, with projects generally shifting to be 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to avoid the heat a bit. Join Midpen staff for a trail maintenance workday at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve on Horseshoe Loop Trail. We will have scenic vistas of Horseshoe Lake as we work to restore trail width and outslope and improve drainage. This is an opportunity to learn more about how we keep the trails accessible for users throughout the year. Staff will provide training on hand tool safety and guide volunteers in performing typical maintenance activities. This project is an excellent opportunity for first-time volunteers!
