Opportunities for Groups

Midpen facilitates volunteer workdays for community-led/nonprofit organizations, school groups, culturally specific groups, religious organizations, and businesses who want to volunteer in open space as a team.

Project work includes, but is not limited to:

      • Habitat restoration (installing native plants, removing non-native or invasive plants)
      • Fence construction or repair
      • Trail brushing or maintenance

Most projects are limited to 8-15 volunteers due to site restraints; however, smaller and larger group sizes may be accommodated depending on the season and preserve needs.

When you and your group volunteer with Midpen, you can be sure that your efforts are part of a larger strategic plan. Midpen volunteers support the restoration and conservation efforts that are part of our agency mission; the majority of our identified volunteer projects fall under our award-winning Integrated Pest Management Program and Resource Management Policies.
