Community Connections Volunteer

Community Connections Volunteers (CCV) are enthusiastic individuals who share their passion for land preservation and outdoor enjoyment with others. They understand the value of open space and the personal benefits of spending time in nature and connect with members in the community at hosted events and special activities both in the preserves, and offsite at various fairs, festivals, and other local events. 

• Work as a team or individually to engage community members and share information about Midpen programs, projects, and activities at events, fairs, and celebrations
• Assist staff in the ongoing development of these efforts, sharing your experiences and making suggestions along the way

Training

• Advance training or prior Midpen volunteer experience is required and will be offered as needed.
  
• Training will cover all you need to know to get started - both a 'who we are' of Midpen and the various duties of the role.
• Minimal commitment – sign up for as few or as many events as your schedule allows!
