The Ridge Trail is partnering with Midpen and the Trail Center for a fun day of trail work at Windy Hill Open Space Preserve. Activities will include improving the tread and drainage along the Lost Trail, where you'll have wonderful vistas as you work! The Ridge Trail Council is generously providing burritos from Chipotle for lunch.
This is an opportunity to learn more about how we keep the trails accessible for users throughout the year. Staff will provide training on hand tool safety and guide volunteers in performing typical maintenance activities. This project is an excellent opportunity for first-time volunteers!
Project difficulty: MODERATE (1.6 mi hiking with tools)
