Important: Before you leave this page, open Trail Center's waiver form in a new tab and complete it after you register with Midpen.
Join Midpen staff and The Trail Center for a trail maintenance workday at Long Ridge Open Space Preserve on the Red Mountain & Nutmeg Trails. We will be clearing woody debris and removing some sapling and vegetation growth in the tread. We may also improve a section of the Skyline to the Sea Trail that is in this area. This is an opportunity to learn more about how we keep the trails accessible for users throughout the year. Experienced crew leaders will provide training on hand tool safety and guide volunteers in performing typical maintenance activities. This project is an excellent opportunity for first-time volunteers!
Project difficulty: MODERATE (about 1.5 mi of hiking with tools)
