Please join Environmental Education Specialist, Jeff Butterworth for a Fall Welcome Gathering and Leisurely Hike.
When: Tuesday, October 8th (9:30am-2:30pm) - stay for as much or as little as you'd like - heck extend your day and enjoy some quietude after the group leaves if you so wish!
Where: Meet at the Russian Ridge Parking Area at 9:30am - We'll enjoy lunch around Noon on a shaded part of the habitat hike trail at Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve.
What to expect: Jeff may sprinkle in an activity here and there for you to enjoy on your hike - however the main purpose here is for us to gather on the Land, catch up and enjoy one another's company.
What to Bring:
- A bagged lunch, snacks for the day and bottled water
- Sun protection - hats, long sleeves, sunscreen and glasses if needed.
- Comfy shoes for hiking up to 3 miles in
- A sense of wonder and curiosity
- Binoculars or magnifying glasses for fun!
